Baby Carrier, Medallions (Baby Product) I ordered this carrier a few weeks ago and loved it right away. Easy to use, comfortable and is super adjustable. The third time I was wearing it though some stitching ripped out of the webbing that holds the strap to the body of the carrier. I submitted a exchange request to Amazon which was fast and easy. They shipped me a replacement that same day and provided a label to send the defective one back. I got the replacement a few days later and about three days later I noticed that the horizontal stitching across the headrest was unravelling. This time I contacted Babyhawk directly as I had two defective carriers from them in a row. The woman I spoke with(Jess in customer service) told me they would help me faster than amazon and replace the carrier. She told me to email her with pictures of the problem and to let her know what color/pattern I wanted in return. 3 days went by with no response so I forwarded the email back to her again from my sent file. Baby Carrier, Sophia Black (Baby Product) I purchased this carrier to replace my Ergo carrier that was lost in the airport. I am so glad i purchased this instead of getting another ergo. This carrier is far more supportive and comfortable for me thanks to the many adjustment options. The waist belt is more structured and supportive, and the shoulder straps are slightly less padded, but are no less comfortable - it just helps cut down on bulk. The body of the carrier is wider and taller than the ergo, giving my baby better support as well. Back carries are more comfortable, and baby can sit higher so she can see over my shoulder, where this is not the case with the Ergo.We also have a Pikkolo carrier, which is also more comfortable and versatile than an Ergo. The Babyhawk is definitely my fav, Pikkolo is a close second, and the Ergo third. Prior to purchasing a non-mainstream carrier we had a Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier....which was awful! Baby Carrier, Aqua Falling Leaves (Baby Product) I got an Oh Snap when my daughter was around 18 months old. We still use it now at nearly 3! To begin with the headrest was up to the back of her head and offered good support if she fell asleep. Now it comes up to around her shoulders and she has her arms out which she likes but it still supports her body very well and if she did fall asleep (rarely if ever) she would be cradled well enough to keep her from flopping around. It is so comfortable. She is held close to my body and i barely feel her weight. It is great for dog walking and getting in and around smaller shops.It is a sturdy carrier that softens up nicely with use and seems very well made. I would recommend this carrier to anyone who wants to continue carrying their baby into toddler/pre school years. |
